BUILDING BLOCKS: Exploring Legislative Updates in the Construction Industry Seminar

Come join the CMAA Northern California Chapter’s Annual 2024 New Law Update. 

This In-Person event will be will presented by three leading practitioners from the Chambers USA Ranked construction firm Hanson Bridgett LLP, with an in-person networking reception to follow at Hanson Bridgett’s San Francisco office.  The presentation will cover new legislation affecting both public and private works in California, including new laws on conflicts of interest in government contracting, authorization for change order approval, payroll requirements, and expanded use of progressive design/build project delivery.

Hanson Bridgett LLP is an approved Minimum Continuing Legal Education provider  (#2628). This activity is pending approval by the State Bar of California  as a participatory activity for 1.5 hours of General credit.  In order to receive CLE credit, you must attend the entire program.  We will not be offering partial CLE credit.

Participants will be given a summary overview of the purposes behind these new laws, and how CMAA members and the larger construction industry can adapt to meet the new requirements.
