Cal Poly Humboldt, Craftsman Student Housing:

Set to be completed in 2025, this 304,000-square-foot student housing project will expand the university’s on-campus housing capacity by nearly 50%. The 964-bed complex features a mix of two-, three-, and four-bedroom apartments, complemented by thoughtfully designed amenities, including common lounges, study areas, conference spaces, computer and TV rooms, on-site laundry, and a fitness center. Sundt self-performed the concrete work, delivering a high-quality, durable foundation suited to the region’s high seismic activity and heavy rainfall conditions. Sustainability is a key focus of the project, with features such as all-electric systems, high-efficiency irrigation, water-saving plumbing fixtures, energy-efficient lighting and appliances, durable exterior materials, and electric vehicle charging stations.
